White Oak Tokinoka

TASTING NOTES – WHITE OAK TOKINOKA

Nose

It delivers suave scents of nuts, mainly walnut, together with rich pear. Following, an oily and herbal sensation, with a touch of caramel.

Palate

Round. It develops notes of dried fruits and nuts (now hazelnut), which are followed by flavors of caramel, cereal and honey. Wood spices complete the flavor profile.

Finish

Medium persistency. Wood, coffee beans and nuts once again. Nuances of licorice.

Overall, the White Oak Tokinoka is an easy to drink whiskey. However, complexity is rather limited and this Japanese whiskey is not much structured. You can feel its youth in every single sip.
